Bird Dog Bay outdid themselves with their design for Hooked on Flies. The fly lure is both attractive and lifelike, and the pale blue background is so in this year. I guess the tie is ironic in a way, since a lifelike representation of a fly lure is really a lifelike representation of an object that is not, itself, alive, but rather a physical representation of a living thing that is intended to deceive a fish into eating it. Fascinating, right?

Details

Bird Dog Bay ties are all 100% 18 momme silk twill, handprinted and handmade. They're just a hair longer than most regular ties, cut to 58" long and 3 1/2" - 3 3/4" wide at their widest spot on the front apron. All of Bird Dog Bay's ties have a long center-stitched self loop and have Bird Dog Bay custom tipping.
