Marshall University is a coeducational public research university in Huntington, West Virginia, United States, founded in 1837, and named after John Marshall, the fourth Chief Justice of the United States. The school was established in 1837, but it's been in recent decades that it has undergone significant growth with the building of the Drinko Library, Jomie Jazz Center and the Graduate College.
