    Pi Beta Phi, the first fraternity for women, was founded at Monmouth College in Monmouth, Illinois on April 28, 1867. Currently there are 200 chapters on collegiate campuses and there are over 300 alunmae organizations throughout the United States and Canada. Notable alumnae include: Mallory Hagan (2013 Miss America), Savannah Guthrie (NBC co-anchor) and Ann Turner Cook (original Gerber baby).
