Delta Kappa Epsilon was founded at Yale on June 22nd, 1844. Their motto is " The Gentleman, the Scholar and the Jolly Good-Fellow". it serves to guide the selection of new members. Many prominent American men have been brothers of Delta Kappa Epsilon: Presidents George H.W. and George W. Bush, Howard Heinz (Heinz Company), Paul Brown (founder of the Cleveland Browns and owner of the Cincinnati Bengals) and George Steinbrenner (owner of the New York Yankees).
