Delta Zeta was founded at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio on October 24, 1902. Currently, there are over 160 chapters in the United States and Canada. As of 2013, Delta Zeta had over 240,000 college and alumnae members making them the third largest sorority in the the nation. Notable Alumni include: Ivy Baker Priest (former United States Treasurer), Melissa Ordway (actress and model) and Kay Yow (basketball coach NC State).
