Kappa Kappa Gamma

Kappa Kappa Gamma was founded at Monmouth College in Monmouth, Illinois on October 13,1870. Currently, Kappa Kappa Gamma has a total membership well over 250,000 women with over 140 collegiate chapters in the United States and Canada. Kappa is a women's fraternity, because it was founded before the term sorority came into use. Notable alumnae include: Kate Spade (designer), Elizabeth McKay (designer) and Mariska Hargitay (actress on Law & Order).
